Colorado business plan attracts strong interest

The business plan for an Aerospace and Clean Energy project (ACE) in Loveland, Colorado is picking up steam. The Colorado Association for Manufacturing and Technology (CAMT) has already guaranteed its participation in the city's proposal to use its Agilent Campus for the ACE project, the result of diligent and coordinated planning by the community. This has occurred as the direct result of a conscientious effort on the part of the local government and community to create and pursue a business plan designed to attract the project.

The ACE project promises to create thousands of jobs for site construction and for the technology professionals and support staff that will ultimately be necessary. Similar to the expansion of Hewlett- Packard in Loveland in the 1960s, ACE offers the opportunity for substantial and sustained economic growth. CAMT has acknowledged it is committed to the Loveland project, and is working with NASA and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory to push the project forward. Prospective tenants for the site have already indicated strong interest and officials say the priority is to land companies with a strong business plan who are prepared to relocate.

CAMT has said the city needs to continue its commitment to include ACE in its plans; otherwise Loveland might risk losing that important participation. CAMT has indicated it will participate regardless of Loveland's decision concerning ACE, though the city seems to embrace the inclusion of ACE.

Community development projects offer the opportunity the shape the economic future of a region. A Colorado attorney experienced in business transactions and the creation of business plans may offer assistance in creating the foundation necessary for the successful participation of any interested party.
